Back again for more heated competition in the world of tennis, the 2026 Australian Open kicks off this weekend in Melbourne.
2026 is shaping up to be another intense year, getting started with the first grand slam on the schedule. Women's world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka will be looking for redemption on this court, as the star was upset in last year's final by American Madison Keys.
As expected, the Alcaraz-Sinner rivalry will be reignited in Melbourne. Although Alcaraz is top-seeded on the men's side, he's never been able to capture an Australian Open title, while Sinner has won the last two in a row.
